This cable is a Polaris cord designed to be connected to a Plantronics Polaris series headset primarily for connection to certain phones that are preamped or phones equipped with built-in amplifiers.
- Does not work with Cisco Phones.
- Also works with Nortel Telephones that have a direct-connect headset jack.

- Polycom SoundPoint IP 300, 301, 335, 430, 450, 500 (rev. E or later), 501, 550, 560, 600, 601, 650, and 670
- For SoundPoint IP phones the Polaris Cable can only be used to connect to Plantronics H251N, H261N, HW251N. HW261N, HW291N, HW301N, and H81 headsets
- Digium D40, D50, and D70
